Virtual classes NOW in session!

Elementary school launched by experiential professionals and led by world class educators

Monday, October 5, Toronto, ON – Experiential professionals launch Park Street Education(PSE) , helping busy parents and children who have been experiencing delayed start dates, closures and further disruptions, fortunately students at Park Street Education have not missed a beat!

Children can enrol at any time. Classes have been in session since September 8th, and students and parents alike have been loving the PSE experience. Unlike other schools PSE was built to be virtual from its inception. Designed by professionals who specialize in creating experiences and led by world class teachers, Park Street has created a fully immersive experiential school which features full-day live-learning, an integrated curriculum and small class sizes.

“Park Street had plans in place and were able to answer all my questions when I initially met with them to learn more. With all the chaos over starting school in the last few months, a clear plan was important to me.” – Park Street Parent

What sets Park Street Education Apart?

PSE teachers specialize in virtual learning and understand that engaging students is the key to a successful education.

Park Street founders believe learning is a holistic experience rooted in engaging students, which is why they offer a cross-curricular education. Each term has a theme paired with an ongoing student-led term project, and all courses follow this theme. This term, students are learning about the Fight or Flight response and will be creating their very own Escape Rooms using components of the curriculum.

  • In science, they are learning about whether fear is a learned or innate behaviour
  • In English, they are reading detective stories
  • In history, they are learning about Indigenous People and will be participating in Orange Shirt Day
  • In physical education, they are learning about how adrenaline impacts the heart rate

At the end of the term, students get to test their Escape Room with peers and family. This term, they have chosen to set their Escape Room in Outer Space.

“I was initially drawn to Park Street’s commitment to providing students with an accessible, quality education, and the opportunity to design a curriculum that is student-centred and grounded in the world around us. It is a teacher’s dream to have classes of students engaged and loving to learn, I have the privilege of being a part of that at Park Street” – Head Teacher Julie Champagne

Can I attend Park Street?

Enrolment at Park Street Education continues for both full-time and supplemental programs. Information sessions with PSE teachers and free drop in lessons are being offered for parents and students who would like to learn more and test out Park Street Education.

Parents are loving the education and experience that PSE offers, while students are enjoying the engaging lessons, virtual field trips and socializing with their classmates. However, what really makes Park Street unique is that it goes beyond the Ontario curriculum. The teachers truly care about each student’s passions and tailor the lessons to ensure children are learning critical life skills such as resilience, compassion, independence and teamwork. Additionally, the online format allows students to learn from teachers, guest speakers and other classmates from all over the world. Discovery is just a zoom link away!
